ADHD Therapy in Wokingham | Face-to-Face & Online

Therapy services

I offer individual therapy based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for adults (17+) with either a formal or self-diagnosis of ADHD. I provide a calm and encouraging space to make sense of your experiences and what it might look like to move forward.

Together, we look at the thoughts, emotions and actions within your day-to-day life, building new patterns that make room for self-compassion and meaningful change. We might take time to explore emotional intensity, the pressure to "do more," or self-criticism. We might take a more practical approach and look at techniques to help your daily activities flow better.

Our focus is guided by your personal aims for therapy.  We focus on inner experiences, practical strategies, or a mix of both.

Inner experiences might include:

  • Understanding your emotional patterns and inner narratives
  • Navigating depression, anxiety, and burnout
  • Softening self-criticism, perfectionism, and building self-trust
  • Making sense of overwhelm and the pressure to keep going

Practical strategies might include:

  • Clarifying priorities and easing decision-making
  • Building supportive routines around time and organisation
  • Finding, and working with, your natural energy and motivation
  • Planning, and completing, projects

How we work together

  • Online via video — join from home or wherever feels comfortable
  • Face-to-face in Wokingham — in person at my therapy room
  • 60 minutes per session
  • £80 per session — same price either way
  • Free first consultation — no cost to see if we're a good fit

How we meet is entirely up to you.  You may have a clear sense of which feels best for you — and if you're not sure, we can talk it through at your free consultation. We can also switch between the two if you change your mind at any point.

Why Video?

Choosing your own environment for therapy allows you to be in a space where you feel completely comfortable.  You have more control over your surroundings, from the lighting and temperature to small but important comforts like a favourite chair, a sensory item, or hot drink.

Why in person?

Stepping into a dedicated space, away from the distractions and demands of home, can make it easier to focus and to mark this time out as yours. The journey to the room becomes a gentle boundary between everyday life and your session, and for some people, simply being in the same physical space feels more grounding and easier to settle into.

Reminders & cancellations:  I will always send a courtesy reminder before our sessions to help with the reality of time blindness.

Sometimes life throws a curveball and plans have to change. If you do need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice, otherwise you will still need to pay for the missed session.
